Advanced Lot Tracking, Expiration Management, and Optimal Temperature Control
At MICSF, food safety is ensured through our advanced WMS, Synapse. Our system enables sophisticated lot tracking, expiration management, and temperature control, giving our clients full transparency and control over their inventory. We utilize industry best practices like FEFO (First Expired, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out) to maintain optimal product quality and freshness.
Lot Tracking, Expiration Management with FEFO and FIFO
Synapse WMS ensures precise inventory management by incorporating comprehensive lot tracking, expiration management, and both FEFO and FIFO inventory strategies. These practices ensure products are always handled with priority based on their expiration dates and arrival times.
- Lot Tracking: Every product at MICSF is meticulously tracked by lot number, providing complete traceability. This allows us to manage inventory rotation efficiently and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Expiration Management: Our system proactively monitors expiration dates and prioritizes products according to FEFO, ensuring that items nearing expiration are moved first. For non-perishable goods, FIFO is utilized to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
Optimal Temperature Control and Monitoring
Temperature control is crucial for preserving the integrity of perishable goods. MICSF’s cold storage facility is equipped with state-of-the-art refrigeration systems to maintain precise, consistent temperatures.
- Temperature Monitoring: Integrated with Synapse WMS, our system continuously logs and monitors temperatures. Any deviations trigger real-time alerts, ensuring prompt corrections. Through the customer portal, clients can access detailed temperature logs for complete transparency and compliance verification.
- Sealed Dock Doors: MICSF utilizes cold storage, specifically state-of-the-art storage doors, to maintain freezing temperatures from dock to rack. These doors are designed to prevent energy loss, eliminate air leakage, and withstand high-traffic environments. The doors feature a tight perimeter seal and insulated core, protecting against temperature fluctuations during the loading and unloading. This additional layer of protection ensures that your products remain at optimal temperatures throughout their entire journey within our facility.
